Job summary

Little River Cabinet Shop in Woodstock, GA is seeking an experienced Bench Carpenter to join our production team. This is a skilled position for someone who already knows their way around a woodshop and understands what quality work looks like.

You’ll build and assemble cabinet components, prepare face frames and parts, sand to quality standards, operate hand and power tools and CNC equipment, and prep cabinets for finishing and installation.

Qualifications

• Prior cabinetmaking, woodworking, or carpentry experience.
• Ability to work independently on shop tasks.
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble cabinet components.
• Prepare and work with face frames and cabinet parts.
• Sand and prepare components to quality standards.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Operate or assist with CNC equipment.
• Prepare cabinetry for finishing and installation stages.
• Assist with finishing preparation and surface work.
• Complete production work accurately and efficiently.
• Check work against instructions and catch issues early.
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate with the team.
• Maintain an organized and safe workspace.
