Job summary

AXIOM is a dynamic Portland-based shop specializing in custom displays and environments. We seek a Builder/Bench Carpenter with strong bench carpentry and cabinet-making skills to join our hands-on team.

You’ll work with wood, laminates, metal and plastics, shaping projects from concept to installation. The role involves a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend OT and travel for installs across the country.

Qualifications

• Years of shop experience with cabinet making and bench carpentry.
• Willing to travel for installs across the country as needed.
• Comfort with wood, laminates, plastics, metal and solid surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench and cabinet construction in the shop.
• Assist with installation when required.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
