Job summary

Ammega is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician for our AMMEGA Production team. You will fabricate and install conveyor belts and related industrial products, coordinating with a supervisor to ensure timely and accurate order processing.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly. Occasional night and weekend work may be needed, with opportunities to contribute to inventory management and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Process orders safely and operate light industrial equipment.

• Maintain shipping/receiving area with supplies and perform reporting tasks.
• Provide on-call assistance as required.
• Track inventory usage and participate in annual inventory.

As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products. For our AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a Conveyor Belt Technician

A day in the life of a Conveyor Belt Technician can look like

• Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner and operating light industrial equipment.
• Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
• Ensuring timely shipping of belting product; receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to correct recipient.
• Maintaining shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
• Processing and maintaining reports.
• Providing on-call assistance as required.
• Recognizing appropriate inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor, maintaining cycle counts log, and participating in once-a-year inventory.

We are looking for you to have

• A High School diploma.
• A valid driver's license.
• Flexibility around scheduling - ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
• Previous industrial or production experience.
• Strong fundamental math skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach. Some climbing is required.
