Saugus Public Schools is seeking a Belmonte Upper Elementary Paraprofessional to support students in the Belmonte Steam Academy. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting classroom instruction, and performing duties to aid student success.

The position requires meeting MA DESE paraprofessional standards, with an Associates degree or 48 credits, and may include assisting with toileting and lifting for certain students. Immediate start is expected.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior experience with children in a school or similar setting.
• Meets criteria for paraprofessionals as established by MA DESE Standards; minimum of Associates Degree Or 48 credit equivalent or Highly Qualified according to District standards.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
