Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Hotel Attendant/Porter to greet guests, assist with luggage, escort them to rooms, and provide information about the hotel and local area. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest service and maintain a clean lobby and bell area.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, strong time management and a friendly, team-oriented attitude. Certifications to serve alcohol must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail, time management and strong customer service.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor with teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws; must obtain/carry required certifications.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Bell person Overview:

As a Hotel Attendant/ Porter you are responsible for providing luggage handling and transportation service to hotel guests. This will include greeting them, assisting with luggage, escorting them to their room while providing information and other guests needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Provide information about hotel, amenities and local information.
• Answer guest inquiries and address their needs in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and valet parking.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and bell area.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and their belongings.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest service.

Job Requirements:
