Job summary

Rhone Apparel, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to set the brand culture and drive store performance in Bellevue, WA. The role leads store operations, sales, and profitability while inspiring the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with Rhone values.

You’ll recruit, coach, and develop staff, implement business strategies to attract customers, and ensure a safe, clean store that reflects the Rhone image. This role requires passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of retail leadership experience or equivalent consumer facing experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage store operations including scheduling, merchandising and daily P&L controls.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and onboard employees; coach and manage performance to build a scalable store team.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract customers, drive traffic, and increase profitability.
• Represent Rhone at events and maintain brand image and culture.
• Meet or exceed store sales targets and KPI’s; ensure product knowledge across the team.
• Open and close the store; manage biweekly staff scheduling within payroll goals.

About The Role

The Store Manager (SM) will set the culture for the brand and the store environment. They are results driven and are responsible for the store’s overall performance including sales and profitability. The SM will inspire, motivate and develop the store team ensuring that every customer has a positive and comfortable experience. The SM will be an ambassador of Rhone and a representation of its principles (Gritty, Responsible, Excellent, Authentic, and Team Centered). They should have a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.

What You’ll Do

• Recruit, select, and onboard employees who are passionate about pursuing progress in their own lives. Coach, develop and manage the performance of employees to create a scalable workforce that sets Rhone up for growth
• Create and implement business strategies to attract new customers, drive traffic to the store and increase profitability
• Represent the brand, brand image, and culture during internal and external events
• Exhibit business acumen as it relates to retail and store financial goals
• Meet and exceed store sales targets and KPI’s
• Train your team to be product knowledge experts ensuring they are able to speak to the features and benefits of Rhone products
• Ensure all Rhone team members deliver exceptional customer service as they represent the brand
• Address customer complaints swiftly and completely showing empathy and compassion
• Uphold operational standards, providing a safe and clean store environment for your customers and your team
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Create and communicate the biweekly staff schedule in accordance with shifting business needs adhering to payroll goals as communicated by HQ business partners
• Open and Close the store as needed
• Maintain visual merchandising standards as communicated by HQ business partners
• Ensure all shipping and receiving are processed efficiently and in a timely manner
• Communicate inventory and assortment needs to HQ

• Proven experience in leadership and team development
• 4+ years of retail leadership experience or equivalent consumer facing experience
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills

• The ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and your team to meet goals
• The willingness to learn, be open to feedback and takes action as required

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
• Proficient in Google Suite, Point of Sale system(s), inventory management systems and labor scheduling systems
