Job Details: Job Location: ALM-Vicksburg Ms Corps - Vicksburg, MS 39180, Position Type: Seasonal Full Time, Salary Range: $8.00 Hourly, Job Category: Christmas, Seasonal

Schedule/Hours: Monday -Saturday, 8-hour days (must be able to work a full shift on scheduled workdays)

This position is responsible for:

Rings bell for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations; greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner. Conducts job duties in accordance with the ministry of The Salvation Army and its Christian principles. Perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet the public with a warm, cheerful attitude

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions (8-hour shifts).
• Works outdoors in cold/hot or inclement weather conditions
• Work is performed outside where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather and discomforts associated with noise, dust, and dirt
• Dress appropriately for changing weather conditions and comfort
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
