Bell Lobby Attendant
Greet hotel guests upon arrival, present leis and escort guests to registration. Assist in check‑in procedures. Escort guests to their rooms, providing information on resort facilities/events, restaurants, Ocean Awareness Program and Big Island activities. Familiarize guest with hotel room and amenities. Assist in bell department with answering telephone and tagging luggage. Keep lobby clean and orderly. May deliver items to guest rooms, as needed. Retrieve juice & leis from loading dock and stock refrigerators. Keep back area clean and wash glassware in lobby housekeeping closet.
Work indoors in an open lobby area and corridor that may be affected by various weather conditions.
Able to work shift and days determined by manager.
Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week if needed.
Must be able to stand and walk during entire shift.
Must be able to deal with complaints or with irate guests and remain calm and friendly.
Must be able to verbally communicate with employees, managers, and guests.
Must be pleasant, smiling and friendly.
