Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to residents in our Behavioral Unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident status or condition to the charge nurse or supervisor.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as social services and therapeutic recreation, to provide a holistic approach to resident care.
