Compass Health, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:45 PM–7:15 AM, 40 hours per week.

You will help with daily living skills, safety, and encouragement to promote independence. You'll gain experience in behavioral health, psychology, or social services and contribute to a structured, supportive environment that enables residents to reach

Competenze

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with ability to obtain MO class E license by end of 60-day period.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience as a CNA or CMA preferred.

Mansioni

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.

A Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) provides support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential or community setting. In this role, you'll ensure the safety, well-being, and daily success of the individuals we serve. You'll provide hands‑on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more - all while helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High School/GED required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least one (1) year of work experience or self-employment required
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver’s license by the end of 60‑day introductory period required
