Little Scholars Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with children, building communication, social, and daily living skills through play-based activities. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and partner with families and our clinical team to support each child's development.
The role is in-home in the Los Angeles area, afternoons and evenings, with paid training provided and no prior ABA experience required.
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills through play-based, hands-on activities. You'll implement behavior intervention strategies, track progress through data collection, and collaborate with families and a clinical team to support each child's development. The role is active and engaging, typically involving in-home sessions during afternoons/evenings. No prior ABA experience is required, paid training and ongoing supervision are provided. Within 90 days, you'll be supported in earning your National certification. Overall, it's a part-time, entry-level clinical role focused on meaningful behavior change, skill development, and improving quality of life for children and families.
All Behavior Technicians are required to pass the BACB Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam by the end of their 90-day probationary period. Little Scholars Services provides training and support to help you succeed.
