Anova Education is seeking a Behavior Specialist Prof I for an 11-month grant-funded position within Student Services. The role focuses on analyzing behavior and attendance data, collaborating with educators to implement interventions, and monitoring progress to improve student outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least five years of experience in school-based behavioral support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing behavioral or student support services in an educational setting.
  • Experience developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and PBIS.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments during the first two weeks to identify priority students and systems needing support.
  • Develop and implement individualized BSPs and class-wide PBIS interventions.
  • Provide weekly sessions focusing on replacement behaviors, emotional regulation, and social skills.
  • Monitor progress using behavior data and adjust interventions every 2–4 weeks.
  • Lead schoolwide initiatives promoting positive behavior and reinforcement systems.
  • Collaborate with school and district teams to ensure coordinated services and referrals.
