Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools is seeking a Behavioral Specialist in Memphis, TN to support RTI²-B and PBIS implementation across all student tiers. You will collaborate with school leaders, counselors, and families to ensure consistent, data-informed behavior support for students.

Responsibilities include analyzing behavior data, delivering short-term interventions, developing BSPs, and guiding classroom management with trauma-informed, restorative approaches.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in school/youth settings.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting student behavior and implementing interventions.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of RTI²-B and PBIS across all tiers.
  • Collaborate with school leadership, counselors, and Family Engagement Specialist.
  • Analyze behavior data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide direct short-term interventions for students.
  • Develop and monitor Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Maintain documentation and progress monitoring for students receiving Tier 2/3 supports.
  • Support teachers with classroom management and restorative practices.
  • Model effective behavior intervention strategies in classrooms.
