Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Specialist II to join the Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions to adults with severe mental illness in residential or community settings, within a multidisciplinary framework. Responsibilities include supporting recovery goals, conducting client assessments, and ensuring culturally competent care that respects client preferences and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions focusing on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement
• Assist the team in providing on-going assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions
• Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals
• Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences
• Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist II to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

Schedule:

• Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm
• Tuesday through Thursday 11am - 7pp and Friday and Saturday 1pm - 9pm

Hourly Rate

$21.50 - $21.50 USD
