Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Behavioral Specialist I to join the Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team.

You will provide evidence-based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness in residential or community settings. Responsibilities include problem-solving interventions, ongoing symptom assessment, and supporting recovery goals with culturally competent, strengths-based services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions focusing on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement.
• Assist ongoing assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions.
• Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals.
• Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.
• Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments.

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist I to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement

Schedule: Sunday 8am-4pm, Monday-Thursday 11am-7pm

Hourly Rate

$20.50 - $20.50 USD
