The role emphasizes using best practices and technology to help individuals live as independently as possible. Starting pay rate is $55,000, with responsibilities including observation, plan development, staff training, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred with at least one year of experience in developing behavior support plans and training staff to implement plans.
• Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and respond to crises.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interact with individuals.
• Create prevention plans and support plans.
• Complete functional assessments.
• Train staff on implementation of plans.
• Prepare progress reports for the individuals immediate support group.
• Serve as an active member of each persons Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
• Attend staff meetings for various locations.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections and investigations.
