The Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center is recruiting a pediatric Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM) psychologist. The ideal candidate has a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology, with APA-approved internship and pediatric experience; a BSM fellowship or substantial BSM experience is preferred.

There is a faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience, medical malpractice coverage, and opportunities for research and tele-sleep evaluations within a multidisciplinary team.

The Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center is recruiting a pediatric Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM) psychologist.

The Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and was among the first in the nation dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in people of all ages. The Center is staffed by 21 sleep physicians, including 3 pediatricians, as well as 4 DBSM boarded psychologists and 17 advanced practice providers (APPs) with 2 pediatric APPs. Our team conducts nearly over 25,000 sleep tests annually supported by 7 sleep laboratories, a home sleep apnea testing mail out program, and actigraphy. The Center offers an ACGME-accredited fellowship program, a Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine (SBSM) accredited BSM fellowship, research fellowships, an Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program and on-site CME. Distance health capabilities offer tele-sleep evaluations, shared group therapy appointments and other innovative care delivery models. A multidisciplinary research team based in the Neurological Institute’s Sleep Disorders Center with rich collaborations in the Lerner Research, Heart and Vascular, Respiratory and Pediatric Institutes offers opportunities for clinical and translational research.

Eligible candidates require a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology with an APA-approved internship with adult and/or pediatric experience or focus for respective positions. A BSM fellowship and/or significant experience in BSM is preferred. Applicants should be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio and should be able to meet eligibility for board certification in BSM.

This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.
