Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in patient care preferred such as medical, behavioral health, or clinical assistant.
• Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification required; training provided if not held at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 observation of assigned patients ensuring direct line-of-sight.
• Conduct continual rounds and timely EMR documentation of observations.
• Operate video monitoring software for remote patient surveillance.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with meals and patient transfers using proper ergonomics.
• Report changes to the nurse and document concerns in EMR.
• Follow safety protocols for patients at risk of falls or self-harm.
