DYS is seeking a Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 to oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a solid background and a passion to habilitate youth.
Specifically, the Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 will:
Within scope of license, provides behavioral health services for assigned caseload of youth at Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility (e.g., assessments; treatment planning; individual, group, and/or family interventions/session; crisis intervention); provides liaison services (e.g., with family, regional office, juvenile parole officers, release authority, school, courts, and other community support services).

All new candidates hired to the Department of Youth Services must complete a mandatory 6 weeks of training. Week 1 is held at CJCF, weeks 2 through 4 are held at DYS Training Academy in Orient, Ohio, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Weeks 5 - 6 are on the job training held at CJCF.
