Qualifications

• Two years’ utilization reviewer experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human service or related field preferred.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medical records to determine severity of illness and appropriateness of level of care.
• Act as liaison for patients and hospital with insurance companies.
• Negotiate and advocate for patient length of stay and level of care.
