Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive outcomes. You will coordinate patient care through the nursing process and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under general supervision.

Essential duties include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, reconciling records, and evaluating patient responses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina RN license or a Compact state license.
• BLS/CPR certification required (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider).
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty per ANCC or national nursing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
