Job summary

Central Ozarks Medical Center is expanding its behavioral health team in the Richland/Crocker clinics in Missouri, offering a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW/LPC) position. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of full-time employment.

The role requires a Missouri-licensed LCSW or LPC, strong communication, group therapy experience, and the ability to work with diverse populations in a fast-paced environment. Travel to COMC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed LCSW or LPC in Missouri.
• Must have a relevant college degree.
• Experience in clinical settings serving psychiatric/substance use disorders preferred.
• Experience in conducting and managing group therapy.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake/assessments and coordinate admissions.
• Complete detailed charting in the COMC EHR.
• Provide counseling to individuals, groups and families.
• Develop and complete patient treatment planning, reviews and case management.
• Provide pre-certification of services to managed care companies.
• Conduct psycho-educational and process group therapy for program participants.
• Incorporate patient’s family and significant others in treatment planning.
• Be responsible for managing patients’ ongoing treatment and assessing outcome.
• Attend clinical and administrative meetings as required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
