Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to assess patients' social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs. You will collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans addressing identified needs and evaluate their effectiveness, adjusting as needed.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a related field, BLS certification within 90

Competenze

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
• For Master's in Counseling, eligibility to be registered with the State as a resident in counseling is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required within 90 days of hire).
• Certification in Addiction, SBIRT, EMDR, Trauma, CBT, DBT (Preferred).
• Prior related experience (Preferred).
• Prior acute psychiatric, hospital or inpatient psych experience (Strongly Preferred).
