Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking Part-Time Behavioral Health Therapists to support Walk-In Clinics in Lawrenceville and Bridgeville. 20 hours per week with evenings/weekend hours. Sign-on bonuses of $2,500 for a 1-year commitment and $3,500 for a 2-year commitment are offered.

The role provides services to youth up to age 18, delivering targeted assessments and short-term bridge therapy within a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Education in school counseling.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral/psychiatric conditions.
• Licensed or eligible for Licensure: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted behavioral health assessment.
• Implement one-time therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate with existing care teams and community resources.
• Provide short term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families.

Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and Experience

Make a lasting impact in a child's life - one session at a time. The Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic at UPMC Children's Hospital provides compassionate, same-day care for youth up to age 18 experiencing non-urgent behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted behavioral health assessment
• Implement one-time therapeutic interventions
• Coordinate with existing care teams and community resources
• Provide short term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Act 31 / 33 / 34 / 73 with renewal
