Job summary

Universal Health Services, Mesilla Valley Hospital is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide therapy to patients with psychiatric and substance use needs. The Therapist will conduct individual, group and family sessions, crisis intervention and referrals to support patients toward emotional health.

The role requires a Master's in Social Work or related field and NM licensure (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT). One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a clinically related field.
• Licensed in New Mexico as LPC, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Minimum of one year of clinical and chemical dependency counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic functions including individual, group and family therapy.
• Assist patients in meeting biopsychosocial needs and achieve emotional health.
• Offer crisis intervention, information and referrals as needed.
