The Behavioral Health Therapist 1 is part of the primary care treatment team and works under the supervision of an assigned clinical supervisor to ensure appropriate clinical knowledge and clinical record documentation. The BHT1 (Behavioral Health Therapist) welcomes, inspires and provides hope within a safe environment. Under supervision, the BHT1 identifies and manages patients with behavioral health problems and provides quality mental health interventions for diverse populations. The BHT1 develops specific behavioral change plans for patients under close supervision and has the ability and flexibility to treat patients across the CDHC enterprise regardless of age, economic status, gender, gender identity, ethnicity or race.
