House of Hope, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team! The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position involves ensuring the provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for clients. Shift currently available (7am-3pm)

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· One year of BHT experience preferred.

· Experience working with the substance abuse population preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written skills.

· Computer literate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor the behavior and activities of clients by patrolling the perimeter and dorms, reporting any concerns to clinical staff regarding the health, safety, or wellbeing of clients.

Provide clients with training or assistance with basic daily living skills and personal hygiene services as needed.

Provide positive reinforcement and support clients.

Performs other BHT responsibilities as assigned.
