Job summary

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Patient-Centered Technician to administer TMS and esketamine therapies in our on-site clinic. The role offers full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7am–7pm and requires flexible availability.

You will deliver compassionate patient care, monitor responses, maintain accurate EHR, handle scheduling and billing support, and participate in specialized training to credential in TMS and esketamine.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field and healthcare internship/experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience acceptable.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care: administer TMS and esketamine per guidelines, monitor responses, record psychiatric scales, address discomfort.
  • Maintain patient well-being and accurate records: empathetic care, clean EHR, scheduling, check-in/out, and billing procedures.
  • Support operational efficiency: assist with insurance and billing processes as needed.
  • Location: On-site in Fairfax clinic; occasional coverage at regional centers.

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers invites you to join our dedicated team. We're seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in our welcoming outpatient centers. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your skills, receive specialized training, and truly connect with patients. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts will vary and are scheduled between 7am-7pm. This role requires consistent availability during those hours, though exact shift times may vary.

Your Role:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care: Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines, meticulously monitor patient responses, administer and record psychiatric rating scales, and proactively address patient discomfort.
  • Ensure patient well-being and accurate record-keeping: Deliver empathetic and supportive care, maintain accurate EHR, and manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
  • Support operational efficiency: Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed.
  • Location : On-site in our Fairfax clinic. Availability to provide back up coverage in other regional centers as needed is preferred.
What We're Looking For:
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field; and at least the equivalent of one year of healthcare work or internship experience.
  • Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, an Associate's Degree, or equivalent clinical certification, combined with significant relevant work experience.
  • Technical & Clinical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided).

Selected candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company’s employee benefit plans, which currently include: health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance; optional supplemental medical insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; company-paid life insurance and additional voluntary life insurance; company-paid short term disability and long term disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) savings and investment plan with company contribution; and paid time off for non-exempt salaried employees is calculated as .625 per pay period worked for vacation time and .29166 per pay period for personal time. Full-time exempt employees will be eligible for Flex-PTO, which allows time off without accrual.
