Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician for the ED Safety Attendants team. The role supports patient observation, vital signs, ADLs, and emotional support under nurse direction, contributing to a safe, therapeutic environment.

This full-time night position requires BLS, NC CNA registry accepted, and NCI training on completion. You will conduct contraband searches, assist with admissions, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient safety.

Effectively utilizes crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed. Assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. Serves as resource for medical staff, nursing staff, security, and other Behavioral Health Technicians.# **Major Job Functions**The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.
