Kid Clan Services, Inc. seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities through ABA in homes, schools, and community settings.

Under supervision of a BCBA, you will implement BIPs, collect data, teach functional life skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track progress and adjust strategies. Travel to client locations is required and strong family communication is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Implement BIPs developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA techniques, including DTT and naturalistic teaching.
  • Collect data on client progress using designated data collection tools.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
  • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA.

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach essential life skills in various settings, including homes, schools, and community settings. Behavior Technicians play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based interventions, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their goals.

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques.
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
  • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow instructions, implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity, and collect accurate data.
