Job summary

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to provide clinical services across Maricopa County. You’ll work with kids, youth, and families in community and home settings, delivering skill-building and behavior coaching with a family-centered approach.

Applicants should meet one education path: a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in behavioral health or a related bachelor's degree. A valid AZ driver license, CPR/First Aid, and 21+ age are required.

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide clinical services to families enrolled within our agency throughout Maricopa County.

• Implement skill-building activities and behavior coaching tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care
• Provide services in the community, home, or other natural settings
• Ability to relate to and build positive connections with children and adults and be working in a strength-based and family-centered way.
• Performing other duties related to the position

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Education/Experience Needed (one of the following):

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Related Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
• Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
• Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training

Compensation: $20/hr to $22/hr
