Monte Nido Rosewood Scottsdale in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to eating disorder treatment. The role involves direct patient care, meal monitoring, and supporting group therapy activities in a compassionate, evidence-based program.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid and CPI certifications (or ability to obtain), and a valid AZ DPS fingerprint card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certifications preferred or obtainable.
• AZ DPS fingerprint card within required timeframe and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring and support for patients with eating disorders.
• Support therapy activities including group sessions, art, recreation, meditation and guided imagery.

Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6a-6:30p

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe
• Must be21 yearsof age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge, a plus.
