Job summary

The Wood Group Behavioral Health Services in Round Rock, TX seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support youth in crisis with safety, care, and structured daily activities. You will monitor residents, assist with meals, complete charting, and follow policies to promote dignity and recovery.

Requires a high school diploma, 21+ years old, and empathy with strong communication. Training is provided; rotating day and overnight shifts available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred.
• Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Able to work every other weekend is required.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility, where we provide critical support and care for young individuals facing mental health and behavioral challenges. • Daytime Shift (7am to 7pm (12hr rotating shift))
• Overnight Shift -7pm to 7am (12hr rotating shift)

Job Duties
