They will assist in monitoring patient progress during detox and rehabilitation, and providing emotional support to individuals in recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a behavioral health setting, substance abuse treatment facility, or similar environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals with behavioral health challenges, specifically related to substance abuse

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient behavior and progress during the detox and rehabilitation process
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals undergoing treatment for drug and alcohol addiction
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals in recovery
• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient care, confidentiality, and substance abuse treatment protocols
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills in the field of substance abuse recovery
