Job summary

Woodlands Grove Recovery Campus is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our clinical team. The BHT will provide direct support to clients in a structured, therapeutic environment and collaborate with nursing staff to promote engagement and safety.

The role involves monitoring behaviors, assisting with admissions and discharges, and maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced residential setting. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, human services, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in challenging situations.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, or overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities
