Amatus Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for 1st shift in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will support clients in recovery, assist with intake and transportation, and maintain safety and comfort within the facility.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, CDCA, a valid driver's license, and 1+ year in mental health or related coursework. Join a collaborative team focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in the Mental Health Field (or corresponding college coursework).
• Ability and desire to keep patients safe at all times.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• CDCA.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the intake process and transportation needs for clients.
• Answer client questions and help them adjust to the program routine.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the medical staff.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients.
• Assist with admissions and orientation procedures.
• Complete timely and accurate shift reports and checklists.
• Facilitate orientation groups or meetings with patients.
• De-escalate and assist with patient issues.
• Monitor patient safety and well-being.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
