Job summary

Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, MO seeks a Behavioral Health Tech (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting on PRN nights (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends and holidays. Under supervision of licensed staff, you’ll assist with daily activities, monitor safety, document observations, and support treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA and professional boundaries.

This role emphasizes crisis intervention, education on coping skills, and collaboration with nurses

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings preferred.
• CBHT certification preferred.
• Ability to work nights and rotate weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and monitors patient behavior and safety.
• Observes, documents, and reports patient status to the healthcare team.
• Assists with implementing treatment plans under supervision of behavioral health professionals.
• Engages patients in therapeutic activities and coping strategies.
• Responds to crisis situations and de-escalates when needed.
• Maintains safety procedures, room checks, and patient rights.
