Job summary

Crittenton Children's Center, part of Saint Luke’s Health System in the Kansas City area, is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Tech for the day shift to support pediatric behavioral health services. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu and supporting treatment plans for children and adolescents.

The position requires a related degree or equivalent experience, a clean driving record, BLS certification, and Mandt training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–3 years of related experience, preferably with at-risk youth.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Mandt Certification.
• Full Time Day shift availability (7a–7:30p).

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing a safe and therapeutic milieu environment for all patients in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Observes reports and records patient behaviors under the supervision of RN.
• Implements the behavioral interventions described in the treatment plan.
• Conducts educational and treatment focused groups with patients as appropriate with training and supervision.
• May be trained as CMT to administer meds to long term residential population.

We are currently hiring for a full time day shift Behavioral Health Tech to support our facility.
