Job summary

Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health invites CNAs to join our inpatient unit dedicated to adult and geriatric psychiatric care. You will support RNs, engage with patients, and assist with activities in a 20-bed facility co-located with NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights.

We value compassionate care, safety, and teamwork. Active CNA certification and BLS are required or preferred; high school diploma or GED is necessary. Flexible shifts augment a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Active CNA certification (preferred, not required).
• BLS certification (required).
• 1 year experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support RNs and providers in delivering psychiatric care.
• Provide direct patient interaction and engagement.
• Assist with individual and group activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health.
• Conduct therapeutic groups for adult and geriatric patients.

Shifts Available: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
