Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a dedicated aide to support the psychiatric unit by maintaining a therapeutic environment and assisting patients with daily living activities. You will engage with patients, participate in group therapy, and collaborate with staff to ensure a safe, supportive setting.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and building therapeutic relationships. Previous CPR certification and one year of experience are required.

• Experience: 1 year of experience.
• Certification: CPR.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens.
• Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.
• Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit
• Assists patients with daily living activities
• Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients
• Performs related duties as required.
