Job summary

Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital in Stuart, FL, is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the treatment team. You will provide continuous patient care, supervision, and role modeling for patients across age groups, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience; behavioral health preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must complete and maintain CPI training (crisis prevention/intervention).
• Pass competency exams within 90 days of hire.
• Overtime and flexible hours; every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling as part of the treatment team.
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Interact with patients across age ranges from adolescents to geriatrics on assigned units.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork to ensure high quality patient care.
