The BHT plays a critical role in maintaining safety, supporting stabilization, monitoring behaviors, implementing treatment interventions, and promoting the emotional and physical well-being of each individual served. This position supports a trauma-informed, person-centered environment and ensures that care is delivered with dignity, respect, and cultural humility.
