Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide supervision and supportive services in a residential setting for adults with recurrent mental health disorders. Qualifications

• One year of college coursework in human services or one year of experience in the field.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Be 21 years or older and able to work flexible hours.
• Demonstrated decision-making in human services settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and supportive services in a residential setting for adults with mental health disorders.
• Contribute to a pool of Community Support staff activated as needed.
• Assist acclimating new residents following admission procedures.
• Support psycho-social groups and provide attendant care across settings.
• Coordinate with case manager and treatment team for follow-through on plans.
• Provide crisis on-call services as part of an on-call rotation.
