Qualifications

• BSN from accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state where the facility is located required.
• 1+ year RN experience strongly preferred; 1 year RN in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery program preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or leadership position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates census changes and allocates nursing resources accordingly.
• Lead shift for admissions and discharges; notify physician of condition changes.
• Administer medications and maintain nursing records per policy.
• Ensure proper staffing per unit and maintain patient safety standards.
• Mentor and train staff; ensure facility compliance with regulations.
