Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Psychiatric Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in the Substance Use Disorder/Dual Diagnosis Partial Hospitalization Program. You will apply the nursing process, ensure safety, and support a therapeutic environment.

This role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Telemetry and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Education
