Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center in Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Adult C Unit. You will deliver nursing care on a structured unit, assist with crisis planning, and support patients through treatment and recovery in a team-focused environment.

The role requires an active RN license and the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may be available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with the health care team.
• Develop nursing care plans and document patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Maintain infection-control policies and safe medication practices.
