Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Behavioral Health RN - PRN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, and protect patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Education includes an RN degree and an active RN license (compact licensure may apply). BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
• Strong nursing skills and adherence to Mercy standards

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers
