Job summary

Sierra Vista Hospital in Folsom, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Department. The RN will coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team, focused on behavioral health and patient wellbeing.

The role requires an active nursing license, ADN or BSN consideration, CPR, and completion of specific safety training. Flexible hours and potential overtime are possible as part of duties at SVH.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must pass medication administration exam; CPR certification; de-escalation and restraint training required.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
