Job summary

The Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) seeks skilled Registered Nurses to join Norfolk Regional Center, Behavioral Health Division, providing high-quality care to adult males with psychiatric conditions.

Starting pay is $51.336 per hour with shift differentials. Available 8- and 12-hour shifts; regular schedule includes two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts weekly with every 3rd weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
• Candidates may obtain licensure within 90 days of application.
• Valid driver's license or ability to provide independent transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document findings.
• Perform patient interventions and administer medications as ordered.
• Coordinate case management and review doctors' orders.
• Arrange for lab protocols and prepare for patient care.
• May lead or supervise other nursing staff.
