Job summary

Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces is seeking a registered nurse to join our 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit on the 5th floor. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients with diagnoses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance use issues.

Candidates should have an RN license, an associate degree, BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and about a year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months.
• One year of behavioral health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care in a Behavioral Health Unit.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers and nurses to develop and implement care plans.
• Support safety and crisis intervention within a 12-bed unit.
